Planning Application Granted to redevelop one of Blackpool’s locally listed buildings, an old parochical hall on Park Road, Blackpool.

Abbott Hull Associates were commissioned to undertake the initial survey and feasibility study for the conversion of an old redundant church hall in Blackpool. After exploring the potential of the existing building and site, we have produced a sympathetic and detailed design to convert this locally listed parochial building into 10 no. luxury 2-bed apartments.

The Church Hall occupies a convenient location on Park Road, a main arterial route within Blackpool. The surrounding areas comprise of dense residential locations with a wealth of local amenities and great transportation links.

It is an imposing building with a wealth of character.

Stages of work,

  • Stage 1 – Feasibility Study; we have provided initial feasibility design options for our client.
  • Stage 2 – Formal Planning Application; Full Planning Application submitted to Blackpool Development Control.
  • Stage 3 – Technical Advisor, Pre-construction information, Principal Designer.
